“Well now, that’s a shame.” Elpy laughed.”No, I’m kidding. That’s good enough for me.” He turned his head to kiss Ciel’s nose.

♆ “…you shouldn’t be too nice to a demon Elpy” he said as he looked down.

cielinexile replied to your post: “Hey, Ciel…I was thinking. Before I came here, you had this house all to yourself, right? Were you really able to do the upkeep all on your own? You’re so small…I feel like you wouldn’t have the energy to keep the house running or at least clean.” Elpy tilted his head to the side. “And that’s another thing—am I just your cook or am I supposed to clean, garden, do the laundry, and all that other stuff?”

Ciel laughed incredulously. “What, you think I’d find that entertaining? Do people really do servant’s work for /fun/?”

“Not really but.. i mean, I suppose that some people do have fun cleaning or cooking”

Elpy blushed, smiling, enjoying the compliment. He didn’t receive them very often, so it made him feel good when he did. His eyebrows raised in surprise when Ciel offered him a bite of the muffin. That was unexpected. He lowered his head and opened his mouth, eating the small piece. Chewing it carefully, he decided, “Hey, this is really good! I’m amazing!” Elpy beamed, proud. It wasn’t actually that big an accomplishment, but he found most all Earth food to be quite delicious and this was no exception. It was all so much more flavorful than the food back home.

He continued eating, but it wasn’t long after he was full.  He then decided to just drink his tea, in order to finish wit it.  He blew on it and then took a small sip “Elpy, that place where you come from?..how does it look?.  Do they have flying cars and stuff like that?” he had been watching too many movies about people living in other planets, so he just wanted to know that such things could exist and eh wasn’t being tricked.

Elpy helped Ciel settle down with the tray, making sure he didn’t spill the tea. Then he stepped back and clasped his hands together, waiting to see what the small earl thought of it. Though he was a decent cook, considering how little experience he actually had in the kitchen, he was used to the older methods of his homeland, such as wood-burning stoves, and modern appliances were sometimes confusing to him. “Well? D’you like it?”

He grabbed the fork and the knife and parted the muffin in two, so it would be easier for him to eat.  He tasted a bit of everything, and didn’t find anything to complain about.  ”Tasty…for a prince you really know how to cook” he took a small piece of the muffin and offered it to him “here, taste it.”
